Modryn Cariad, better known as the Welsh Love ring is made in high polish sterling silver.

Legend has it that Llywelyn Fawr the Great was descended from Lady Godiva and fell in love with and married Joan, the daughter of King John of England around 1219. He was one of the most memorable princes of Wales and the Welsh love ring epitomises the love between them and their struggle to ward off the invasions from England.

The Welsh script reads ''One ring to show our love, One ring to bind us..''

The beautiful ring measures 7mm in width and is available in sizes from K-Z+3.

The ring comes complete with the poem on a gift card and in a stylish gift box.
