Modryn Cariad, better known as the Welsh Love ring shown here in pendant form that is made in a high polish sterling silver.

Legend has it that Llywelyn Fawr the Great was descended from Lady Godiva and fell in love with and married Joan, the daughter of King John of England around 1219. He was one of the most memorable princes of Wales and the Welsh love ring epitomises the love between them and their struggle to ward off the invasions from England.

The Welsh script reads ''One ring to show our love, One ring to bind us..''

The beautiful pendant measures 22mm in diameter and comes complete on a 16 inch silver snake chain.

The pendant comes complete with the poem on a gift card and in a beautiful gift box.
